Kirsten Haalboom

Kirsten Haalboom joined Anderson & Quinn, LLC as an associate in January of 2019. Prior to joining the firm, Kirsten practiced health law in Rockville, after which she served for seven years as a development executive for a non-profit, where she handled estate gifts and policy development.

Kirsten received her bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota. She then served as an AmeriCorps volunteer in St. Paul, Minnesota teaching English and citizenship courses for refugees, before attending Valparaiso University School of Law in Valparaiso, Indiana, where she earned her J.D. in 2009. Kirsten was admitted to the Maryland bar in 2010 and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.

Kirsten works primarily on workers’ compensation matters but also handles guardianship, healthcare cases, and assists with all other matters handled by the attorneys at Anderson & Quinn, LLC. Kirsten is a member of the Board of Directors for Women Solve and she currently lives in Frederick County with her husband, Gus, and daughter Hannah.
